Steve Trew

Managing Director

Recognising the significance of Environmental awareness, Steve set up GreenZone Cleaning and Support Services with the aim of being the most environmentally friendly cleaning service provider in London. With over 20 years of experience managing high value commercial and residential contracts countrywide, Steve has an enviable reputation in the property industry. He has worked with many of the country’s leading managing agents.

Dan Sadler

Director

A qualified accountant with significant sector experience, Dan has responsibility for GreenZone’s development, and works to ensure that GreenZone is best placed to challenge industry preconceptions and offer innovative and deliverable solutions. Having worked extensively within both operational and sales functions, he fully understands how to create a detailed service model that meets the specific needs of each individual customer. This has greatly contributed to GreenZone’s growing reputation for delivering outstanding service.

 

Nicky Trew

Director

Nicky leads GreenZone’s office-based management and administration, ensuring the smooth running of the back-of-house functions. In addition, Nicky ensures that GreenZone is always at the forefront of environmental best practice by keeping up-to-date with the latest developments and legislation. Nicky worked as a freelance IT trainer for over 15 years, teaching all levels of employees from the banking, legal and other sectors.

Guy Travers

Operations Director

Guy has extensive knowledge working across all sectors of the support services industry, having been in the cleaning industry for some 35 years, albeit with a short break serving in the forces for 9 years. He has worked for major companies across all levels covering waste, security, cleaning, pest control, window cleaning, fire & flood restoration, facility management, fleet management, environmental & health & safety compliance. Guy's forte now lies in the successful implementation and management of high profile large multi-functional contracts and detailed bespoke project work adding real "value" to service contracts through innovative practices.

Ajay Chauhan

Financial Director

Ajay initially joined GreenZone in August 2014 as our Financial Controller. In October 2015 he was invited to join the Board of Directors in the role of Financial Director.

A qualified Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA) as well as a qualified AAT, he has extensive SME finance function experience having previously held positions as the FC and the FD for an international wholesale jewellery company.

His career that began at mid-sized accountancy firm Silver Levene, also includes FTSE 100 company Allied Domecq where he spent several years in the Payroll, Fixed Assets, General Ledger and Tax depts.

Steve Dieppe

Director of Sales

Steve has in excess of 20 years’ industry experience and is responsible for the organic growth of the company as well as the retention of GreenZone’s business.  Having worked with major companies across all levels to provide innovate solutions he fully understands how to create a detailed service model that delivers value to GreenZones clients.  Steve and his team are focussed on extending the GreenZone’s client portfolio in line with the company’s strategic growth plans; he aims to play an integral part in the growth of GreenZone in this exciting phase of his career.

Paul Furlong

Projects & Implementation Director

Paul’s role at GreenZone is to work alongside the sales team to organise the implementation of all new business, offering assistance to not only the operations team, but also to the back of house teams to ensure a smooth transition upon commencement of any new contract.

Having started off working in the cleaning industry more than fifteen years ago as an administration assistant, and since working at various cleaning companies and in various roles, Paul has experience in most areas of the business including; operations management, accounts & sales and marketing and has successfully both implemented and ran contracts for a number major clients during his time in the industry. He is a strong believer in delivering customer service and will always to go that extra mile to ensure that customers are getting the service which they are paying for. Paul was made a Director in July 2017.

Ronnie Reid

Health, Safety and Environment Manager

Ronnie recently joined us as a NEBOSH qualified Occupational Health, Safety and Environment Manager, coming from a similar role in a leading logistics company. He has also spent 16 years working as an auditor in reputation management. He is currently studying to obtain his NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety and working towards Chartered Status of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH). He also holds an Associate Certificate in Environmental Management and is a member of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA) at practitioner level. Furthermore, he is an IRCA registered internal auditor. Ronnie is a fluent Spanish speaker. He aims to ensure that GreenZone continues to demonstrate industry leadership in health, safety and the environment.

Alejandra Llanos

Senior HR Officer

Alejandra joined GreenZone as our HR Officer in January 2016 to provide support to our HR Department.  She has a solid background in Occupational Health and has worked in the UK for 11 years. She is currently finishing her CIPD studies in HR Practice.  In July 2017 she became our Senior HR Officer.

Spanish is Alejandra’s mother tongue which enables her to fully support GreenZone’s employees.

Liliana Castellanos

Human Resources Manager

Liliana joined  GreenZone in January 2013. Before she moved to London she studied for a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry in Colombia. After working at the university as a Chemistry teacher for a year, and also as a Research Assistant for almost two years, she moved to London. She first studied English for two years and then took an MBA in Health Care Management.  During her time in Colombia she gained a solid basis in business knowledge whilst working in her family's business. Liliana supports is one of our Human Managers at our Head Office and is a crucial member of staff, especially as she is able to liaise with employees when Spanish is required. 

Rasa Verseckiene

Key Account Manager

Rasa is our dedicated Key Account Manager for a significant single contract comprising a portfolio of in excess of 33 iconic buildings and landmark addresses throughout London. She heads up an extensive team, ably supported by and directly responsible for a management team of three direct reports, providing 24 hour operations and a 5-star service for these most prestigious of locations. Rasa is a Senior Manager with considerable experience through which she brings not only a high degree of senior operational management skills, but strategic and innovative solutions that provide efficient and effective operations. Her skillsets, and hugely positive attitude, enable her to take effective responsibility of her team, whilst also ensuring that an extremely demanding specification is effectively delivered within tight budgetary constraints. She is highly customer focused and takes great personal pride in the success of her contract.

Ilamir Vanelli

Key Account Manager

Ilamir is our Key Account Manager for our significant City contracts. She heads up sizable day and night teams, providing a 24 operation for some of the most prestigious clients. Ilamir has a wealth of senior management experience, demonstrated by awards such as Contract Manager of the Year, Team of the Year, UK Manager of the Year and 2 GEM Awards. Through this experience Ilamir brings not only a high degree of senior operational management skills, but strategic and “outside the box” solutions that provide efficient and effective operations, to the GreenZone offering. Her strong interpersonal skills help her to take personal responsibility of her teams, their needs and desires. She is fluent in Portuguese.

Chiara Gasparini

Key Account Manager

Chiara joined GreenZone in May 2017, originally from a 5 star hospitality background. She has worked in the facilities services business for just over 16 years and so brings to GreenZone a wealth of experience. Working across high profile contracts within the London to national multimillion pound contracts she understands the different aspects of contracts, client expectations and also how to maintain a extremely high level of service delivery. 

Ed Beck

Key Account Manager

With more than 15 year's experience in the Hospitality/Facilities Management world, Ed joined us as a Key Account Manager.  He has managed prestigious and high end multi million pound accounts including the head quarters of global banks and prestigious hotels.  Ed’s experience covers Operations Management, Reception & Front of House, Cleaning & Housekeeping, Client Liaison and Account Management.   He is motivated by new challenges and enjoys turning low performing accounts into effective and high performing units that deliver an exceptional service.

Sally Pinto

Business Development Manager

Sally  joined GreenZone in 2013 as our HelpDesk Manager and soon gained knowledge and understanding of how to meet our client’s expectations. Sally is now responsible for new business growth, working alongside the Operations Managers to help them develop and look at new opportunities. 

Sally is multilingual having strong family ties with Portugal.

Carlos Arias

Senior Operations Manager

Bringing with him several years experience of managing teams of staff on large, high value contracts Carlos has strengthened our management structure and enabled us to further develop our cleaning service.

Carlos is working with Guy concentrating on our Central London contracts delivering the wow factor.

Miguel Acosta

Senior Operations Manager

With more than fifteen years experience delivering outstanding levels of customer service to varied portfolios of buildings throughout the South East of England, Miguel has joined the team as one of our Senior Operations Managers. Miguel has a reputation for supporting his colleagues in order to maximise the benefit for his clients. He is highly qualified and well respected by clients and colleagues alike. 

Rob Wilson

Operations Manager

Rob joined GreenZone in April 2011 as Operations Manager for Clarence House and Kensington Palace. He has 11 years of experience in the cleaning industry and has extensive experience of managing other Royal Residences.

Arek Broniszewski

Operations Manager

With more than twelve years of experience in successfully delivering services into the extremely demanding Hotel sector, Arek fully understands varied, demanding and fasted pace operations. He brings these skills of understanding cleaning from a 5-star hotel  perspective to his work within our commercial environment. Arek reports into Margaret and supports her to deliver outstanding services to our clients in the wider out-of-town areas. He is extremely well respected by both his teams and his clients.

Monica Faluvegi

Operations Manager

Monica was rapidly promoted through the ranks of Hotel based cleaning staff and was recruited by us from The Dorchester where she was the Site Manager for another contractor. Monica understands cleaning from the hotel perspective and has been highly successful in introducing many of the influences in to our wider operations team. Having owned and run her own business Monica has a wide and varied range of skills to bring to each of her contracts.

When time allows Monica is an enthusiastic socialiser and has a wide range of friends in London with whom she enjoys relaxing, eating and drinking!

James Diaz

Operations Manager

James has over 22 years’ experience in the cleaning industry managing commercial and hotel sites and so brings a wealth of experience to GreenZone. He believes that by managing his teams of cleaning operatives well and looking after them, they will then be able to provide an excellent service for our clients.

James has worked with GreenZone before but had to leave to return to Columbia for personal reasons. We are delighted he has chosen to return to GreenZone as one of valued team of Operations Managers.

Cody Best

Operations Manager

Cody joined us as a Contract Supervisor on a portfolio of buildings we were instructed to maintain on behalf of a new client. After attending various training courses he was promoted to Operations Manager and had direct one-to-one mentoring from our Operations Director.

Cody has grown quickly within GreenZone as a Operations Manager and maintains contracts with a number of our key clients.

Alejandro Estrada

Operations Manager

Alejandro works with Rasa as a key part of her team helping to deliver a contract of iconic, but hugely operationally demanding, buildings throughout London. Alejandro takes day to day responsibility for the fifteen significant buildings within the portfolio, and hence works with an extensive team of morning, day and evening operatives to deliver a 5-star service for these most prestigious of locations. Having worked his way up from a Cleaning Operative, Alejandro’s understanding, engaging and patient manner enables him to fully engage with his teams, getting the most effective delivery from them.

With over twenty years of managing specialist and reactive cleaning teams, John liaises closely with our wider operations teams to ensure all planned cleaning services are carried out to the satisfaction of our clients.

Ilona Smaro

Senior Operations Assistant

Ilona works with Rasa as a key part of the team helping to deliver a contract of iconic, but hugely operationally demanding, buildings throughout London. Ilona takes day to day responsibility for the eight most challenging buildings within the portfolio, and hence works with a large team of morning, day and evening operatives to deliver a 5-star service for these most prestigious of locations. Ilona’s engaging and patient manner enables her to engage fully with her teams, getting the most effective delivery from them. Ilona can often be seen “rolling up” her sleeves and demonstrating in a first-hand manner the most effective solution to solving an identified issue.

Hodan Mohamed

Contract Manager

Hodan is part of the GreenZone family; having worked as a cleaning operative at one of our most prestigious instructions she was promoted initially to the position of Site Supervisor and then Contract Manager. Having been closely supported by our HR and Operational teams Hodan now manages a number of Central London contracts. We are committed to promoting and developing our colleagues and Hodan is a shining example to all that we are able to offer a fantastic career opportunity.

Bid Manager

Elisa joined GreenZone in February 2015 as Bid Manager, responsible for gaining a detailed understanding of our clients’ desires and the subsequent preparation and production of high quality proposals to match these aspirations. With over seven years’ experience in the cleaning and support services sector, often working on multi-million pound tenders, her background and experience ably supports the business in winning new contracts.

Jurate Nagit

Management Accountant

Jurate is a part qualified Chartered Management Accountant (CIMA) who has ambitions to become fully qualified in the very near future. She started her career as a Recruitment Manager for a training company and then joined an accountancy firm as their Tax Advisor. After a number of years working on both business and personal tax issues she joined high street retailer American Apparel as their Sales Ledger Accountant. Jurate joined GreenZone in February 2014 initially as a Finance Assistant but very quickly progressed to her current position of Management Accountant. She is a hardworking and ambitious professional that works for success.

Morshad Miah

Credit Control Manager

Morshad, with over 14 years of accounting experience, joined GreenZone in April 2010 as our Finance Manager. He was promoted to the Financial Controller in January 2014. In order to prioritise on completing his ACCA Professional Papers, he decided to change roles and became our Credit Control Manager in December 2014. Since he began in this new position, significant improvements have been made in the management and reporting of the Company’s debtors.

Morshad’s career began with an Accountancy practice. He has also worked for a law firm in the City in addition to another cleaning services company prior to joining GreenZone.

Yesenia Garcia

Payroll Manager

Yesenia joined GreenZone in November 2011 as Payroll Manager. Prior to GreenZone she worked in social media and direct marketing and completed an MBA in International Business and Management at the University of Cardiff, specializing in commercial strategy. She has also worked as an accounts assistant.

 

Tatiana Jaramillo Vivanco

Finance Assistant

Tatiana has a degree in Accounting and Auditing from the University National of Loja. In addition, she also has eight years of experience in accountancy and administrative roles in Ecuador. She moved to London in 1999 and after taking a career break raising her family, she commenced her AAT studies shortly before joining GreenZone in 2014. Tatiana’s initial role was as a Payroll Assistant but her accounting skills were evident and she was moved to the Finance department within a few months. She is now a qualified accounting technician (AAT) and in the process of gaining full membership.

Annika Chauhan

Finance Assistant

Annika joined GreenZone in September 2017 after studying Mathematical Economics & Statistics at the University of Birmingham. Having previously temporarily worked within the Finance Department, she is now full time and will shortly commence studying for her professional Accountancy exams.

She has had varied financial work experience including an owner managed business, through to Hampshire Trust Bank along with Schroder and UBS.

In 2016, as part of her University course, she attended the business school, ‘Central University of Finance and Economics’ in Beijing, China. As English is not spoken everywhere, her significant knowledge of Mandarin came in very useful!

Linda Bell

Project Manager

Linda has helped GreenZone achieve and maintain ISO14001, 9001 and 18001 accreditations alongside numerous others including Exor and Safe Contractor. She ensures we remain committed to reducing our annual carbon footrpint each year working together with Planet First, and works with Business in the Community to improve our social impact and find ways we can better support our staff. She manages our successful Employees of the Month scheme and all social media.

Martyn Sheriff

IT Manager

Martyn joined GreenZone in September 2012. Martyn has over 35 years in the electrical industry, with qualifications in the following: C & G Electrical installations Parts 1 & 2, 17th Edition Regulations and an Internal Verifier (awards D32, D33, D34, D35). He has worked with IT since the late 80’s and has gained further experience and qualifications in IT security. Martyn’s strengths are in his abilities to see the whole picture to create seamless integrated systems and his attention to detail in such a vital complex side of GreenZone’s Business.

Patricia Velasco

Systems Compliance Officer

Patricia moved to London in July 2000 having graduated as a Systems Engineer from the Pilot University of Colombia. With over 10 years work experience in the UK in Payroll and HR departments, Patricia has extensive knowledge in Sage Payroll. She joined GreenZone in 2010 as its first ever Payroll Manager! She helped set up the department, introducing procedures, internal controls and reporting.

GreenZone was sorry to see Patricia move back to Colombia in December 2011. During this time she worked as a project manager for TW Datos, a software development company. Patricia is organized, analytical and very committed to any given project. GreenZone were delighted to welcome her back into our Payroll department in July 2015 where she has been Payroll Manager covering for Yesenia who was on maternity leave. From May 2016 she will be our Systems Compliance Officer.

Hector Gonzalez

IT Administrator

Hector joined GreenZone as an administrator after completing a Level 2 certificate in Business studies at Lambeth College.  His strong computer skills have proven very useful and he now supports our IT Manager with IT systems and IT innovation.

Spanish is Hector’s mother tongue so he is able to help employees who have Spanish as their first language.

Johanna Rosario

Help Desk Team

Coming from a medical administrative background Johanna is used to dealing with lots of information from different sources. Her experience of dealing with doctors, patients and nurses meant she was a perfect fit for us when we were looking to expand our Operations HelpDesk facility. Johanna has an eye for detail and keeps a cool head regardless of whatever else is going on around her. Having spent a year working as one of our Operations Managers Johanna knows and understands the pressures felt by our field based colleagues and does all she can to ensure there is a smooth and easy transfer of information at all times.

A keen cook Johanna is often happiest when entertaining friends and family. She is also a talented dancer so beware!

Lorena Salazar

Help Desk Team

Lorena originally joined us at Head Office to cover for Viviana whilst she is on maternity leave. She was supporting Elizabeth Marin in the smooth running of all our procedures.

In March she was promoted to our Help Desk Team alongside Johanna.

Jacek Ciepiela

Mobile Team Leader

As the GreenZone Mobile Team Leader, Jacek provides support to the Operational Teams. He liaises closely with our Operations Administration Manager to ensure all planned cleaning services and reactive works to client's needs are carried out in a smooth and effective manner.

Wieslaw Broniszewski

Mobile Team Operator

Wieslaw joined the cleaning industry in 2014 and during the past 3 years acquired invaluable knowledge and skills which he brings to our mobile team. In the past he has delivered high standard services to the 5 star hotel sector as well as supervised a team of cleaning operatives in the demanding world class retail environment. Wieslaw has experience in renovating marble, granite and wooden floors as well as carpet cleaning. He reports to the Mobile Team Leader and supports our Operations Team.

Angelo Castro

Mobile Assistant

Angelo is a key member of our Mobile Team. He has four years’ experience in the cleaning industry working as a Site Supervisor and so knows the pressures of responding quickly to emergency requests on site and periodical works over the weekends. He is always happy to help with sites in and out of London as requested by our Operations Managers.

Elizabeth Marin

Administrator

Elizabeth provides administrative support to both the Operations team and head office staff. She has extensive experience as a cleaning supervisor and is able to use her knowledge of the business to help fine tune procedures in the office.

Kamila Broniszewska

Implementation Assistant

Kamila joined GreenZone in October 2016 as an administrator assisting the reception team.  In July 2017 she was promoted to Implementation Assistant. Kamila is an experienced administrator previously working as an Architectural Assistant managing the office and working with clients, negotiating and establishing relationships with contractors and suppliers as well as planning project programmes of work. Kamila also worked as a maintenance manager for a housing association, where she managed a team of staff on a daily basis.

With her wealth of facilities knowledge, Kamila is perfectly placed to assist the Implementation and Projects Director with the varied and sometimes complex tasks that are associated with contract implementations.

Paulo Goncalves

HR Administrator

Paulo joined GreenZone as HR administrator after completing a Business Management and HR (with CIPD) degree at the University of East London (UEL). He completed the Young Black and Ethnic Professional (YBEP) Programme in 2015 at the UEL. As well as assisting with the day-to-day efficient operation of the HR office, Paulo is fluent in English, Portuguese and Spanish so can help translate in meetings for employees as required. Paulo has previous experience in the cleaning industry and is familiar with the concerns and issues our operatives face daily on site.
